Set Up
- Put in a ticket to ciresithelp@colorado.edu to create a group for your cluster. Specify who should be administrators who can add and remove members.
- Add members to the group using Google Groups. You can see your cluster list using the CMC application on InsideCIRES. (Note this list will automatically stay up-to-date and list only the people who are CMC constituents. This means grad students, who belong to CECA instead, will not be included.)
- Maintain the list by adding and removing members on a regular basis. You can again use the CMC app for this.
Google Groups Workflow
- Go to https://groups.google.com/
- Click on your group
- Select Members from the left side menu:
- Using the InsideCIRES CMC app, add and remove members. To add, click on Add Members above the names to add a member
To remove, hover your mouse over the icon to the left of the person’s name. This will will turn the icon into a checkbox.
Check the checkbox, and at the top of the table, click the remove button:
