Hours

CIRES' main office, Room 318 in the CIRES building, is open during the University's hours of operation, including the lunch hour:

• Academic year hours: CIRES is open 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
• Summer hours: CIRES is open 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM

Holidays

CIRES has two slightly different holiday schedules, an on-campus schedule and an alternative off-campus schedule. Both schedules feature ten regular paid holidays per year, but they vary slightly on which days are paid holidays. CIRES employees do not have the option of selecting which holiday schedule to follow. The off-campus CIRES alternative holiday schedule, matching the Federal schedule, applies to CIRES employees in the Boulder NOAA labs. The on-campus schedule applies to CIRES employees working on the CU-Boulder campus.
