Frontier Airlines is generally not recommended for university business travel because its restrictive fare rules and numerous ancillary fees can significantly increase the total cost of a trip. While the base airfare may appear less expensive, charges for carry-on and checked baggage, itinerary changes, and other optional services often eliminate any initial savings. 

If a Frontier flight is determined to be the most appropriate option for your business travel, you must contact a Christopherson Business Travel (CBT) agent directly to make the reservation. 

Because Frontier flights remain available through the CU managed travel program when booked through a CBT agent, purchasing a Frontier ticket directly from the airline or through another travel website does not, by itself, qualify for an exception under the Internet Airfare Policy.
