How to Turn Off Gemini on Desktop

1. Open Gmail in your web browser.
2. Click the Gear icon (Settings) in the top-right corner.
3. Select See all settings.
4. Stay on the General tab and scroll down to Smart features and personalization. Uncheck the box to turn off smart features.
5. Scroll further down to Google Workspace smart features and click Manage workspace smart feature settings.
6. Uncheck the boxes for Smart features in Google Workspace and Smart features in other Google products.
7. Click Save or Turn off and reload.

How to Turn Off Gemini on Mobile

1. Open the Gmail app on your phone.
2. Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
3. Scroll down and tap Settings, then select your specific email address.
4. Scroll to the Data privacy or General section.
5. Uncheck Smart features and personalization (or tap Google Workspace smart features and turn both toggles off).
